i wrote this out of sheer bordem! so please enjoy!

Change.

One thought can change the history,
one dream can make a wish,
but failing and giving up can really smell like fish.

One joke can make some laughter,
one candle can light a room,
but getting up and moving on is one that you assume.

One spark of hope can change the world,
one star can show the way,
and if you always follow your heart,
your love will always stay.

One beam of sun can grow a plant,
one ball can start a game,
and if your dreams will stay with you, you mite just
earn some fame.

One thanksgiving can bring a family closer,
one disagreement can start a war,
we just need love, and faith and hope to
close the door on war.

But if we love and give enough,
we mite just close that door…. I know its cheesy but remember, i was bored!

what should I do if best friends always gives stupid gifts?

I really like giving a gift to someone(no matter at xmas or at b-day) and especially to best friends. Usually i think a lot about what to give and I’m trying to be really creative, which I am good at.
For example, I gave my best friend a gift for x-mas(earlier because we wont meet later) a big purple christmas ball and, and with blue glitters using glue I putted blue glitters saying her name on it, and some really delicious candies. And she gave me just an medium sized white candle. Like wtf?
Is that normal? It may sound weird, but I’m just sick of that.

any one know how to get a 14 year old to go to bed early?

My 14 year old thinks he can stay up all hours, do what is wants when he wants,but it is starting to get in the way of his school work. how can i make him see it ……. burning the candles at both ends is not good for him
before you ask not his dad is not with us, not htat he was any good at helping out when needed
First sorry spelling out on last bit ……….my 14 year old, he’s been through a lot, but still not right that he thinks he is 21 ……i went to his review day at school, yes he is doing ok but need’s to improve before taking his exam’s, don’t want him to do bad at school, having some one from the school coming to talk about him next week see how we can help him, he some times puts his mouth in to gear before thinking.

Candle-making: is this okay?

I am making teacup candles. I couldn’t find any wick at hobby lobby (nor could I find wax), so I just got balled candles in the colors I wanted and planned on melting those down. My question is, is it okay if I just use that brand new wick? Basically I’m melting it and putting it somewhere else.

Should Christmas celebrations be more tolerant?

I heard on the news today that in some town the town council told a citizens organizing a Christmas festival not to make it too religious because it might offend non-Christians.

Im sorry but has the world completed turned on its head. The first word of Christmas is Christ. How can you ask people to seperate the two. And what in the world would non-Christian want to participate in a Christmas activity.

I wouldn’t go to a Hannukah festival and ask to put away the candles, or an Irish festival and ask people not to wear so much green. Would it make sense to go to a Chicago bull stadium and request more pictures of Lakers be in the building. I just dont get it. We are going PC to the point of insanity.

We will soon be a nation without thought or definition because we will only be allowed to think and do things that doesnt offend somebody. How sad?

You are missing the point. If a group of people wanted to start celebrating the pagan Yule holiday with a festival then great. I love diversity in this country. And as long as your festival wasnt expressing hate towards anyone else or threats of violence then I would be all for it.

My point is that as long as we keep worrying about who gets offended at what, we wont ever be able to do anything

Need fluent speaker of Spanish to translate this correctly for my class?

Hi, I have a presentation tomorrow and I am having a little trouble translating these two tiny things correctly into Spanish. So if you could post the correct translation that would help a ton, thank you :) !

I chose a really beautiful tradition that is done during Christmas time in Argentina, and that is to light “globos.” They are colorful paper balloons you light from the inside and they take off into the sky. Argentinians do it at night, and you can see the skies lit with them. Lots of children as well as adults do this tradition and it is an old tradition.

In Argentina Christmas is an important holiday and this is evident in the decorations that every home displays. Wreaths in green, gold, red and white along Christmas trees decorate the living rooms. I chose to make a wreath for my ornament. Argentineans decorate the Christmas tree with laces, balls, wreathes, Santa Clause figures or “Papa Noels” which are an American influence, and candles. The Nativity also plays an important role and it is placed close to the tree.

How Can I Turn My GF Into The Dyson Ball DC15 Animal?

I told my girlfriend that she needed to improve her blowing…
I’ve tried throwing her numerous parties, with candles that well exceeded her age..
I once told her, while I was in the garden, that the hose was clogged and that the only way to get optimal water flow was for me to fiddle with the spigot while she (on the other end) sucked to relieve the pressure.. Unbeknownst to her, I had shoved a golf ball in there.. And that STILL didn’t work.
I’d like to be able to say she could suck start a 747 but we are far off from that mark.
How do I improve this crucial need for a healthy, happy relationship?

I am making soy candles, and the directions say to use a Presto pot. I know Presto is a brand–but does anyone know why they specify the Presto brand? Does Presto use some different type of metals or something?
